Torres Strait Islander people, their Elders, past, present and to all future cultural knowledge holders.
Come and join us - we'd love to see you!
Rivercare
Rivercare is one of our longest-running activities. GEG Rivercare volunteers are restoring native vegetation near the Gloucester River at Gloucester District Park. This regeneration encourages local wildlife, including birds, fish, platypus, water dragons, water rats and frogs. We remove invasive weeds such as willow, privet, camphor laurel and balloon vine and plant native species. Volunteers gather on the 4th Friday of the month for 2 hours, followed by morning tea. Details are provided in advance via email.
